Swedish national TV: “Region Skåne purchases new digital tool”

From svt.se 2020-05-31:

On Thursday, Region Skåne signed a new agreement on a new digital system that will offer Skåne patients digital visits via the health center’s website or via 1177.se.

According to Region Skåne, it is due to covid-19 that the new digital tool Platform24 was purchased and the purpose is to make Skåne care more accessible to patients.

The service itself is called, as before, Primärvården Skåne online, and is aimed at both adults and children with minor medical problems.

The patient must be able to contact a nurse or doctor digitally via the health center’s website or 1177.se for assessment and any prescription. If the patient needs to see a doctor or nurse, an appointment is booked for a traditional visit to the patient’s health center.
